“I was surprised to find motorbikes and even bakkies on top of the mountain. Because I delayed the expedition, a wise decision was taken to use a bakkie. After a bumpy 3 hour drive and an hour’s scrambling to the top – I hauled out the South African flag. Everyone was ecstatic and ten hours after leaving our camp, we were back – all smiles. The donkeys would not have made it and neither would I on my own so all was well in Africa. In Agadez I was welcomed back by the Sultan who gave me so many gifts. This was an amazing trip. The Tourag people are so friendly. They have a great sense of humour and even the flies are polite. I am truly blessed to be able to live my dream.”

“Hi Chris,
The cruise was excellent, and Aziz was a good guide. I really enjoyed it the pirogue ride. Aziz took me for lunch to a barbecue place, Chez Tchoss, in Petite Marche area. I was not expecting to go there, but it was the highlight of the trip. The food was easily the best i had in Niamey and i would not have ventured there without a guide. A fantastic and eye-opening trip!
