Niger Tours Complete

This tour is the cheapest way to see both main Nigerien cities and the north-south axis of the country and landscapes, on a budget. It does not get cheaper than this for ground travel. There are long distances and long hauls in this tour, so it may be better to start after a few day tours from Niamey if you are coming off a long flight. This is not a luxury tour. It uses budget and midrange hotels and is for seeing as much of the country in as short a time as possible. It is very fun, very widespread, and comfortable enough, but this is one of the least developed countries for tourism on earth.

This is a form fit itinerary that incorporates all of the main cities of Niger, and focuses on the cultural and population centers of the country. You will get a pretty thorough run of the culture this way. The tour will include all of these cities, however the order of the days and the number of days in each can vary depending on weather and price. We will visit them all and this is inclusive of the tour. The route below is a template but not always fixed. We will get you to each city to visit, with the pace based wholly on road conditions and safety.

Over the course of the tour, we will travel overland from Niamey to Agadez staying in and exploring Tahoua along the way. Once we arrive in Agadez, we will spend two days exploring this market town and popular spots within it. The city is well-known for its camel market and leatherwork. We will have a chance to experience prayer at the famous grande mosque and also interact with Agadez locals.
